Right off the bat though, I have nothing for production, so my thinking is to focus what little I have on artillery, infantry equip & support equip that way I can recruit a decent sized army ASAP and use the claim on Yugoslavia to expand as early as possible to get some factories and resources.

So you knock out Ethiopia, I assume youd want to puppet them, which makes the first war logistics focus a waste of time really, but you get the next 3 focuses which are good.
