Put logistic, (Light armor scout) and Flame panzer to Armor unit, and Mountains and normal infantry. Make two first computer tech first and from industrial basic tools, construction, dispersed, and production line to level 2 and after that synth oil (you need that in focus tree) In this start building some mills and do some improvements to areas that have resources. Go to the bottom of that and build civs like there is no tomorrow.Īfter that go to the right and fill those focus in there. I also wanna thank you guys for always being helpful, I hope one day I can pay it forward. Anyone wanna point me in the right diection? Id prefer to do a semi historical playthrough, the other guides I found online (Google is trash now) talk about taking the UK, France and US out immediately, cant find a good walkthru on beginning a historic Italy. The size of navy I have to begin with, IDK how im gonna feed it!! My fuel was almost empty from fewer than 100 planes assisting ground forces in Ethiopia, so I think I need to find somewhere with oil to conquer as well.Įvery idea I have seems to have a problem, not sure where to go. Of course, the 3 basic techs to start, but maybe getting the fighter researched right away, then infantry & artillery equipment? I will need air superiority and spamming out early infantry seems like my best bet. The economy is so small, you have no resources, no tech. I see theres a ton of ships queued in my production, but I have NO resources to make them and I simply cant spare the civ factories to trade for goods, so I should probably just scrap the ships for now eh? Italys navy is decent as it is. When I play Germany I start off just building dozens of civs, then switch to military production around '38. Right off the bat though, I have nothing for production, so my thinking is to focus what little I have on artillery, infantry equip & support equip that way I can recruit a decent sized army ASAP and use the claim on Yugoslavia to expand as early as possible to get some factories and resources.

Is it worth the time to spend in those? Maybe instead I go with Army Primacy first, then rush the claim on Yugoslavia?Īnyway, after Ethiopia I help in the Spanish civil war to get some precious XP. So you knock out Ethiopia, I assume youd want to puppet them, which makes the first war logistics focus a waste of time really, but you get the next 3 focuses which are good.

Not trying to 100% cheese an early war on the US before 1938 ya know?īut at the start of the game im just not seeing many options here. Ill side with the Axis and secure the Roman lake. Not looking for a step by step guide, just perhaps point me in the right direction, I wanna do a somewhat historic game. So im still pretty new, I linger on here a lot and read what you guys have to say, and was hoping I could get some basic advice about Italy.
